About my 2002
Someone asked whats going to happen when the dealer gets the car and then tries to stick it to me on price.
We discussed it a bit and he said since I worked with him before - and he's an honest guy - he'll work on the price with me. I said, the current invoice to MSRP difference is about $3000 so we need to work inbetween that.
You are probably right in saying we should say something like $1300 over invoice. That does make sense and I think I will approach him about that.

He's an honest guy (I like that). Are you kidding? He's a car salesman
They will do whatever it takes. Honesty usually doesn't enter into their thoughts.
