There is a hose with a bleeder hole (closest to the battery) that you need to just slip off the pipe enough to let the coolant leak out of the bleeder hole.
Loosen up the hose clamp of the bleeder hose and see if the hose can be slipped off the heater core pipe. Once is loose, put it back on all the way and do not tighten hose clamp. This is just make sure the hose can move on the pipe without being completely off. Be careful as the collant may be hot if the engine is warm. I recommend safety goggles for eye protection, kitchen sink cleaning gloves over cotton for hand protection, and maybe a long sleeve sweatshirt for arms prtection.
Fill the over flow tank with 50/50 coolant/water first to proper level and then start the engine. If the level in the overflow tank goes down, shut off engine and refill to proper level. Once engine is warmed up and level in the overflow tank is OK, slip the hose off the pipe just enough to see coolant leaking out the bleeder hole. You will see spitting of air and coolant out of the bleeder hole.
Once the spitting stops and flow of coolant is constant out of the bleeder hole then slip the hose completely back on and tighten the hose clamp. Check inside of the car and make sure heat is coming through the vents. Turn engine off and check the coolant overflow tank and fill to proper level as necessary.
