ABS Controller - DOA
My ABS and brake lights have been coming on intermittently but are on most of the time (tested ABS - it's definitely not functioning when lights are on). Dealer couldn't read fault codes and couldn't communicate with any systems except for AC (?!). Unplugging ABS controller allowed them to access other systems so they say I need a new ABS controller to the tune of $1280!
How difficult would it be to replace myself? Do I need to do some digital wizardry or is it plug-and-play? What if I just blew it off?
