ABS error message
Hello i have just got Myself a a4 b5 1.8t Quattro and so far I’m loving it but there is a problem with the abs last owner said it was the sensor front left I changed the sensor and obd scanner can’t even contact the abs control unit so I might need a new one but I need to know where it’s located some posts say it’s in the passenger footwell or something like that
can anyone help me locate this control unit ?

On US cars it is located on the driver's side toward the front next to the filler for power steering fluid. Attached is a link to more info.
