ABS sensor question
I have the ABS light and blinking Brake light on my wife's Avant (98 2.8Q Auto). When I VAG it I get a message starting LR sensor Short to Ground or +B. I want to verify that it is a bad sensor and not the abs module. Where do the sensors plug in? I'm planning to swap the left and right sensor plugs to see if the error follows it.

Bad sensor.
Plugs in under the rear seat. Pull it out of the hub and take a look; mine was visibly damaged.
If it bad, you can buy one from the dealer ($200), buy a used one ($50), or find one from an older 90 that fits (cheap and plentiful- $5 in my case) and cut and split the plug.
