ABS Speed Sensor Removal
While trying to tap around its edges to loosen it up, I managed to crack the cast housing of the sensor. After doing that I decided to just try and muscle it out with some vice grips since I would be replacing it anyways and it sheared off, flush with the hub. Man was that copper sheath ever stuck in there with rust.
Got the upright off the car and hammered the broken sensor out with a drift pin, following that with a good emery cleaning of the hole.
In retrospect, I should have just disconnected the connector at the module under the back seat and not messed around with trying to get that sensor out at all.
When reinstalling your sensor, make sure to use some never-seize or equivelant on both the little bolt and around the sensor itself, though the replacement ones are usually sheathed in plastic now.
