Default AC Problem - Climate control wont go into "AUTO" or start AC

So for the past 7 years I have had this Audi, the AC has never been working. There has always been a good amount of heat in the climate control but never any cool air. I assumed the AC system would have lost its refrigerant and due to low pressure the system wouldn't work. Well today I bought items to refill the system with R134A to finally get some cool air blowing. When connecting the gauge I found out that the system already had a pressure of 48 PSI, meaning it was already full.

What could be the problem causing the AC to not run? Any ideas where to begin troubleshooting at this point? Ive tried disconnecting the cable on the low pressure side and putting a jumper in it without any luck of starting the system. Also checked fuses.

Below is a video of exact problem.

Thankful for any ideas.

The AC fan in engine bay is never spinning or trying to spin for that matter, and I'm not able to kick it on. I guess this would be the first step to see if AC is working. Is it only the AC button on climate control inside the car that triggers this fan? Any other requirements for it to run other than having enough pressure?

The radiator fan is not specific to the AC. It turns on to help cool the engine at idle when necessary.
Have you scanned for codes? Could your aftermarket radio be messing with computer communications?
Could still be a fuse, AC clutch or compressor issue.

Thanks for sharing that video! Found it very useful. I have tried scanning with my vag-com but it returns failure to read the module due too many communications errors. Its possible it could be my PC setup failing. This issue has been since long before I installed aftermarket stereo so doubt thats the problem. I tested AC clutch and its working.

At this point I suspect the Climate Control Display/Unit OR a relay OR the high pressure port switch (not sure how to test it with a jumper since it has 4 cables in it.

Any other relays than the AC clutch relay worth testing/chaning? Is it likely the climate control unit is having failures?

Made another video that show some other problem with climate control not beting able to lower temp or increase flow, it happens from time to time.

Ok so I finally got vag-com working again, it was a latency issue when connecting to HVAC module.

Got plenty of fault codes here:

Update:

Tested putting two jumpers in the AC high pressure switch, this will start the AC fan - still not allowing me to start the AC clutch from the climate control panel though. I manually connected the clutch to battery to start compressor while having the fan running for awhile.

The high pressure pipes became cold after awhile and I got cold air in my car when I put the temperatur to below 10 celsius. When I go above 15 celsius it immediately starts blowing really hot air again. For some reason my climate control unit never shows HI (high) or LO (low), instead I can change temperatures from 00-100 degrees. Maybe this is because it dosnt think the AC is working(?).

All those Open or Short to B+ point to shorted out wires somewhere. Not a fun thing to try to trace.
