Adding a sub to an A4
Just got my 2001 A4. One of my options is the bose premium sound option. I'd like to add a sub and already have the equipment (amp, xover, sub). has anyone added a sub to their A4? What did you do to pick up a signal? Are there outputs on the back of the deck or did you have to get the signal from one of the speaker leads?

You must run 12v from the battery but the rest of what you need is in the trunk.
The white wire at the driver side rear speaker is your turn-on wire and on the pass side speaker you can tap in and run a high low adapter as opposed to rca's. For bass the signal difference (high-low being poor signal) won't matter much as it is with highs that the signal becomes more important.
