Is it poossible to hack into the wire harness connected to the bose amp so that I could use the existing wiring to each speaker? Or do i have to run new wires to each speaker. I ask this because it would make my life much easier to use that because im putting a 4 channel amp in the back and it would be a lot easier to connect the speakers since the connections are already back there.

Right now, I'm still using the stock Bose amp in my '98 A4. I've got a really nice 4-channel amp that I've been waiting to put in. Just can't find the right weekend! To answer your question, YES, you can hack into the harness. In fact, I'd strongly suggest that you do! Running new wires in the doors sounds like a ROYAL pain in the butt. The hardest part will be determining the pinout. I can help you here...

In the front doors, the speakers are wired normally (+ on speaker wires goes to large spade clip at the speaker). In the rear doors, this is reversed. So, when you're testing the speaker connections with a low-power boombox or something, remember that the rear doors will have the non-striped side going to the plus side of the amplifier terminal.

Should i get a harness that goes in, or do I need to cut the wires to get into the harness? Is there any adapter currently that plugs into the bose amp?

unfortunately, the Bose amp uses an odd harness size... you MIGHT be able to find one at an electronics store. I'm planning to just cut mine.
