Advice..oil overfill, ignition coils, o2 sensor
Don't buy coils until you check the dealer or stealer however you will have it. I have a 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8 too(looks identical to yours actually). I got a letter about two months ago for a recall on coil packs. I got all four replaced for nothing with a 124,000 miles on her something do do with emissions. When they run your vin # they come up with recall info. I'm willing to bet money your on the list too! Check it out tell'm you got a letter in the mail but you lost it or something sometimes they like to play stupid.
As for spark plugs I replaced mine with these: http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=NGK7808
Fuel mileage is a little better maybe a mile or two better and she idles a lot soother now too... idk how much that has to do with these plugs specifically b/c the old ones were pretty bad. Anyways by the look of it your cars pretty near the same as mine and they are working great for me and you can't argue with the price.
Goodluck!
Regarding cylinder #2, if it sparks but is flooded with gas, I would suspect the fuel injector isn't shutting off.
So I think what happened is that the car ran too long after the misfire occurred. Fuel was being pumped into cylinder 2 and was not firing. So that fuel ran down into the oil and made it look like the oil was high. (oil smelled of gas today) I didnt get a chance to look over the car much before my initial post.
Is there a way to test the fuel injector for cylinder 2? Or is this a replace and see if it works kind of option?
If too much fuel washed down into the motor the motor could have major issues within, correct? Could be something wrong within the cylinder?

1. Check ignition power stage N122 output to coil #2 on the 4 wire connector pin #2. There should be a pulsed ground to the coil negative.
2. If no ground pulse is present, check the trigger signals from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to the N122 power stage, on the 5 wire side of the N122 power stage, pins #1, #2, #4 and #5. Use a lab scope to check for the signal, with the engine cranking. All 4 signals should look the same.
3. If trigger is present on the 5 wire side and no trigger is present on the 4 wire side, the N122 power stage is faulty and must be replaced (NOTE: ALWAYS replace the coil on the affected cylinder at the same time).

So is it safe to say that its the injector flooding the cylinder? I could swap injectors and see if the misfire moves. But I think there is alot of fuel in the oil again because it is constantly dripping into the motor so I dont really want to start it up until I change the oil again but I dont want to change it again until I get this drip stopped.
