Ahh, it's good to be back surfing AW. Went away for a few days of skiing with GF...
...in Jackson, NH (Just south of Mt. Washington). It was serious quattro country, as it snows all the time there. I must have seen 30-40 Audis in the time I was up there. Also did some snowshoeing around the base of Mt. Washington at Great Glen Trails...

Saw this cool poster in the base lodge of the Mt Washington Auto Road - an Audi, holds the timed record for driving the entire distance of the Road Hillclimb(7.4 Mile Course in 5:07.92 in an Audi S2 rallycar)

The Climb to the Clouds is sponsored by Audi
The weekend before 4th of July you can go and park in the "Audi" parking and get food and a t-shirt. Who set the record? Is it Michele Mouton (sp)?

Driver: Frank Sprongl of Mississauga, Ontario set the record in '00. Last year a Hyundai Tiburon...
...won the shortened race (poor visibility). The Hyundai probably would have won the record if it hadn't been shortened, but who knows. Hopefully Frank can whip up some extra hp to win. Tuburon has some sick hp, 500hp IIRC 8-0.

Question and comment....
How did you get a $120 rate - their site lists higher rates? Please e-mail me directly.
I saw that event - NEQC sponsored it - we hiked to a curve about 1/3 of the way up and saw all sorts of crazy machines fly by - we were at the inside of the curve where it's much safer! Only a couple of cars went over the edge......
