I want to try the connector trick to see if I can get the air bag light off (already tried just resetting the code with a VAG. Lasted for 1 weeek).

I was wondering how to get at the connector with electric seats. Do I have to remove the seat or can I get at it without that hassle?

just look under the front of the seat, its the 2 wire yellow one, easy access. A little dielectric grease and your problem should be fixed
