I've done it....
No idea if it's done anything beneficial to the car or not. I only took out prescreen, and cut out the baffling. I did NOT do the part where you open up the bypass into the wheel well area....i don't see much benefit to that, and thought it would suck in too much dirt and grime.
It sure makes your turbo spool up louder. I can hear it in the car, and a friend who was following me to work one day said the turbo was quite loud outside the car.

This is what I did. IMO better than the Minnesota Airbox Mod or the Europeanspeed mod.
