Alarm problem...

I came home late the other night and after arming the alarm with the remote, the doors lock the ambers blink and the horn sounds ,all normal, but the red lights in the doors are not blinking anymore. Tried several times, checked hood ,trunk, gas door, everything properly locked ,closed.Car is a 2001.5. I had battery replaced 3 weeks ago. How can I reenable those red light to blink again?

Check the hood sensor. I bet its bad. You can't "enable" the red blinking LED

Its always on even after a battery replacement. Something else is going on.

Could the dealer disable these LED's ?....

I had the car in prior to battery diyng because I had problems starting the car sometimes.There was not enough juice left in the batt. Since I replaced it ,I have no problems starting no matter how cold it is outside and its pretty cold now.I had it in a few times before changing the batt and the tech did something with the VAG tool.
Also how do I check the hood sensor if its good or bad?

I did already and nothing there. No faults...

Should a bad hood sensor show there? If yes where?

go into the instruments and check for codes. I don't think you're in the right module.
