Default The sentiment is beautiful, but the origins are of a different time.

A time of equal greif and suffering, but limited unity in a country just having removed itself from a horrible "war"(Vietnam), and in very bad sorts.

Default Has it been mentioned that this was written in 1973?

The email doesn't mention it, but this was written in 1973. What's
interesting is that some of the disasters he mentions, like the San
Francisco earthquake and tornados, refer to previous incarnations of
similar events, though they still sound within the context of a recently
written article.
