Andy Sprague grills arrived today. Pictures and details inside.
So I was missing one of my lower grills on my car ever since I bought the thing. Well after some time I finally broke down and decided to do something about it. I had seen post about Andy Sprague grills and seen pictures and decided this was the route I would take. I contacted Andy who was very nice and easy to deal with. He had me a UPS tracking number the same day I paid him. Great doing business with him. A week later and my grills have arrived so now I set out to install them. Here is a picture before the grills were installed.

The lower grills were a slight pain in the *** to remove, but when you pull hard and twist a little they eventually pop out. After placing the grills in position I realized that silver vertical support beams were not going to work. I drove to Checker and picked up a can of black touch up paint and painted over the pillars. Once they were painted I was ready to zip tie on the grills. The drivers side and center grill were fairly easy to attach since the pillars were all in tact. Unfortunately my bumper was slightly damaged and the passenger side one was busted.

The zip ties wouldn't hold the grill in place with the broken piece so I ended up just drilling a hole in my bumper for the tie. (keep in mind this is not required unless you have some broken pillars). I did find this held the grill in perfectly and might consider attaching all in the same manner. Here is a picture.

I'd say that zip tie is the most well hidden of them all. Anyway here are the pictures of the car all done.

something needs to be done about the blue bottle... notice the pillars painted black. I'd recommend anyone doing these grills with a light car do the same thing.

why aren't these other pictures showing up?

Dupli-Color Auto Spray from Checkers, and 400 grit sand paper.
It was very easy to do. Just make sure you tape up a bit so as to not get paint everywhere. Paint was dry in about 3-5 minutes but I am in Arizona.

They seem very thick to me. Thicker then the RS4 grill, but I've only seen one before.
All I can say is I couldn't be happier. They were a perfect fit, and everything I had expected. As for hiding the things behind them I would agree they don't do the best job. I'm going to train an pull a few things out and paint them black also to clean up the look. Either way I'm happy if I could help out your purchasing decision. I could take closer pics of the grills if you like.
