Default Thats entering the laces of the boot

On the right side of this image the most indented part...its turn 6 leading into the chute... very downhill and leftward turn. I find it to be one of the hardest to master at WGI. Thats where I was at.... heading into that turn I'd reach 80-85mph... turn in speed was likely 50mph... pic was shot maybe at 60mph.

Default At the risk of

dating myself ... I used to go out to WGI to watch the US Grand Prix. We always spent a fair amount of time watching from the Toe. It was incredible to see how quickly the F1 cars would vanish gong up the hill after that tight turn.

Default I wish I had been to those races

but it was before my time. I saw IRL run the course last year on TV... it was impressive.

The toe is awesome to drive and it gives the course some real flavor. My fav part is the esses, I dont know why so many people don't drive them flat out but I can enter the back straight doing 90mph in my underpowered avant. From the end of turn 1 to the start of the chicane is basically WOT the whole time.

Default The upside ... you'd have seen some legends of the sport, Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Fittipaldi, Hill,

Ickx ...etc.

The downside .. you too would be pushin 110 years old
