yeah, I'm the same way with my A4...
that's the beauty of the underpowered cars... you can basically plant the throttle and just let the motor pick you up w/o any explosive power. By the time I leave T1 I'm shifting into 4th and it's all WOT from that point on.
I'm surprised you find the turn into the laces the most complicated... the toe is my nemisis, but I'm pretty sure that's true for almost anyone that drives that course
