Another springs question...
Why so many people in this forum use H&R sport and yet I see posts here all the time that people are complaining the H&R give uneven lowering. Someone also mentioned H&R has some quality control issues too. Is Vogtland a good alternative to H&R? How about Neuspeed and APR Roll Control springs? I pretty much ruled out Eibach because they aren't much harder than Audi's sport package springs.

hows the ride on the vogtlands?
...i got a set waitin to get installed...had neuspeed race and it was a bit too low and harsh for everyday drivin...now i just got to find a good place in jersey to install em...

Raj was like shop foreman for the day.
They arent too harsh, but they arent squishy either. Like when I go over speed bumps I dont get the back end of the car dipping down anymore. It used to dip down and come back up. They are set stiffer than Blake's FK coilovers we did a sit in the trunk test. My car had less give.

What struts are you running?
I have Neuspeed Sport Springs and Neuspeed Bilsteins and the I think the ride isn't harsh but I did notice that when I hit bumps at higher speeds (50+ mph) the bilsteins didn't absorb the bumps as smoothly as other cars that I've been in with stiffer (Vortrag) springs and koni adjustables. My experience with suspensions tell me that ride comfort depends a bit more on the struts than the springs.
