I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I have a spring that needs to be replaced on my 2.8 Avant and am wanting to replace with stock S4 springs. First off, I'm assuming this is ok, and second, are the springs different on an avant vs. a sedan considering the extra weight of the avant?

Let me know if you find out. I have a 99.5 A4 Avant with factory sport suspension plus 2 complete low miles front and rear sets (springs+inserts) in my basement as spares and I've been told that there are the same and that they are not.
