1. Ease of Use, easy. I really only use the boost and peak hold feature, as well as the turbo timer. If you've been driving hard it will stay on longer. It has lap times and stuff like that, dont' really know how/ need to use them.
2. Installation...People have done them (turbo timers) but not for myself. Had the guy who installed my stereo do it. Figured I'd do it right the first time. I just didn't want to mess up.
Also, I don't have the parking break feature hooked up, which if someone else drives your car is somewhat essential from my experiences. Anyone do this?? PITA??
I'd reccomend the DTT...the different backlighting doesn't bother me in the least. And if I had to watch a big needle move back and forth all day I'd get annoyed. Do it...good mod.

Can't you change the backlight to red?
Somebody told me you could switch to red and it matched the rest of the interior. That's a good place to put it though - I've been looking at that model but don't know where to put it. I might go with that!

I believe so...
I think you just need to switch the wires to the led panel..But but for day time driving, black on that greanish color is easier to read than black on red... But if someone I know is successful at changing the color, or if a good tech is written with Pic's I'd probally give it a try. Also, there is a warning feature that you can set, so that whenever the boost goes past a point the back lighting turns red..but it does beep at this point to.
Nothing but thumbs up for this product from me..

hmmm.... I thought you could just pick either red/green
can you set your warning to zero (and mute it :P)? or negative pressures? this way you could have gren = negative and red = positive, or you could have it always red by setting warning @ -50psi or something like that :P

Haven't tried that..but from what I remember seeing
you have to switch the wires going to the LCD panel. Don't know if I can mute, I'll look into that, if I can that's a good idea. But I'd be surprised if you can set the warning in vaccum, but it's worth a look. Still reccomended..
