Any problems with 2000 A4?

I am thinking about getting an A4 2.8 and I am wondering are there many problems with this car? (major and minor) Can anyone give me some ideas? Thank you.

Its more like clicking from the passenger side - has anymone got this fixed? how?

Only 1k mi so far, but no problems and tight as a drum - 2000 1.8TQ tip, sport, conv, nav...love it!

Only thing I've noticed is smell of exhaust or cat converter on moderate to hard acceleration. Dealer says it's normal but I'm going to drive another one to verify.

I have a '00 2.8 and no problems in 5,000 miles except dead remote. Love it!

6K miles, no problems except for slightly flaky stereo

My Symphony stereo is currently possessed by evil audio gremlins who apparently don't like flat frequency curves.... the tone settings keep changing by themselves. I've confirmed this after setting every source to completely flat bass, mid, and treble settings. Sure enough a few days later my Mid is cranked and bass is way down. I'll discuss with the service folks at 10K service.

But, other than that the car is perfect. Much faster than I expected. Solid as a rock. No squeaks or rattles.

I drive it pretty hard too. But always let it cool off and have switched to Mobil 1.

My last Gtech run was 6.96secs 0-60mph ....STOCK!
