Anybody with T3/T4 in a DBW
or does anybody know of a T3/T4 in a DBW...since APR S3 is um no where to be seen for the DBW's and while MTM is nice I really dont want a k04 and since my friedn can get me a brand new ballistic T3/T4 for $460 Im considering it...theres a pretty good turbo tuning dyno shop that can tune a turbo like nobodys buisness (dude there is way to many T's in there) they will make me custome equil length exht manifold and custom fab alot of parts..and I was thinking of the 2.0l stroker kit for it to and a few misc bits and pieces...but if tuning the DBW is not an option than of course Im gonna have to sit on my thumbs for S3
PS the shop dosent have alot of experienc etuning Audi's but they have done some sick jobs on everything from a 9sec N/A street legal cmaero to a 12's turbo H22a accord (12.6 was his best run but he snapped a crank alittle over 3/4's of the way down the track and still managed to limp to the traps in 12.6)
PPS its not gonna be a pure drag car Im just thinking...and Ive been up all night and Im insanely tired but I cant sleep...so I ramble
sorry

thats what Im thinking about doing
but even with pigy back computers and AFC and a Boost controller DBW might not want to cooperate and I want to find these things out now before I sink money into it

call Adrenalin in MA....I know they
changed their GTI from DBW to non DBW....it has a GIAC chip and NOS. It would be interesting to hear why they did this. One phone call might shed some light on your dilemma. BTW, they have experience with aftermarket engine management systems in 1.8T's (autronix for sure, not sure what aother systems) so they shoudl have some ideas for you.

Eurospec Sport sells a DBW -> nDBW kit
It's for Golf, Jetta, and Beetle. I'd imagine that means it wouldn't work on an A4 because of the different tuning to do the engines orientation, but the hardware of the kit should be workable perhaps? MAF may not work however.

Why convert it? So you don't have to deal with the nuances of DBW.

www.eurospecsport.com is the one that makes a 2.0 stroker kit. But there is more work then you think
to slap a 2.0 crank in a 1.8 block. If you wish to know about a T3/T4 on a dbw go ask MAU. He is running one in FL. It is even running great on the same software the PES T28 kit is running on.

stroker kit
