The dealer I went to put a 100 mile limit on the car. I took a TT Coupe 225 6 speed out. Hell, I had 70 miles on it in an hour and a half of back road driving! Called the Audi 24 Test Drive to find out about this and they told me the dealer has total control over running the program. They told me some dealers cut it to 4 hours! Well, it was a blast anyway. It did seem slower than my chipped 1.8 Avant, which surprised me. Perhaps the gearing since it was a 6 speed? No problem with getting the car I wanted. Some dealers also limit choices to their inventory. I can understand the mileage limit but 100 defeats the purpose of a 24 hr test. 2-300 miles would be more realistic.

I opted for the new A4 cabrio, but I'll see if I can get the TT. The 100 mile limit is enforced by the dealer, so there's not a lot you can do about it. Looking forward to it. Make sure you fill in the review. You never know who's going to ski in Switzerland in Feb. Cheers!
