Anyone done a 96 A4 lower oil pan themselves?

Default Anyone done a 96 A4 lower oil pan themselves?
I need to change the lower pan on my 96 A4 2.8 Has anyone done this job? Any hints or suggestions? Does the oil pump have to come down or do you just cut that part of the gasket out? Thanks, Matt
