In Jersey, I made sure to mention it to them, because they're idiots and all. A friend of mine told me about his friend's AWD Volvo which flew into the car in front because of such a mishap. Anyway, they put it in neutral or hold in hold in the clutch pedal and rev it to 2500 to do the emissions... which is normally done on the dyno. Thank goodness inspection is once every two years... my clutch can't handle that kind of abuse. I smelled it as soon as they pulled up.
