Anyone done their own boost gauge install in center vent?

Default I used the cardboard the gauge was in the packaging as the template..

then I cut the fins with the dremel making sure I cut inside the hole and not going to big..

then I used a sanding drum that fits in a drill (drill press would be better)
You can get one that is slightly smaller than the guage and use that to make a nice uniform hole that is even and has the right contour on the fins to meet flush against the gauge housing.

The guage it's self has a metal bracket on the back that pushes against the fins and screws down against the back of the guage.

2nd boost gauge set up (first was a lame A-pillar gauge)

then got a 60mm mechanical gauge, but didn't like it, so i switched to a 60mm electric gauge

Why didnt you like the 60mm mechanical Omori gauge?

Default the gauge face didn't cover the entire gauge...

so there was a ring of light between the edges. real annoying. i could have swore i had pictures online back in the day, but can't seem to find them anymore. i discussed the problem with Omori in Japan and they sent me an electrical gauge as a replacement.
i liked the electrical gauge much more if for no other reason than the 'hold/warning' feature.
