Default Anyone else notice the Forum seems awefully slow...

...since upgrading to the new forum software (which seems to work great otherwise). Is it just me or does it seem to take forever to "refresh" the page? It shouldn't be a speed issue on my end as we have a T1 at work. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Default Geez, I wish I could spell..."awfully" not "awefully"

Default Is it the new software, or just a new server?

Default A few thoughts

In testing we noticed that it could be a bit slower in some instances. However, we did not expect any major issues with speed. I have not spoken to Johannes following the "crash" this afternoon, but we will try to address whatever is causing the slowdown. It shouldn't be the server itself. The software may need to be tweaked for performance. Bear with us. I was hoping to say that this software would never, ever crash... but I guess I can't even say that :-)

To be fair, it is just the first week and we need to continue to address these issues.
