Anyone ever get an "exhibition of power" ticket in their A4?
A few weeks ago I was visiting Las Vegas and got a ticket for "exhibition of power." I think the ticket is a bunch of BS, as it states that I "Engine from a slow velocity to a fast velocity making drivers from other vehicles nervous." I was't carrying up to date proof of insurance so he got me for that too, but whatever that is nothing. I am just wondering if anyone has fought one of these tickets or what it cost them. I don't really want to go to court because I don't want to drive back out to vegas. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I wondered
if it was a ticketable offense if I go as fast as possible from a stop sign or light but easing up once I reached 45 (assuming a 45 mph zone)
I guess this answers my question....

yea, I didn't break the speed limit.....in fact...
I was just changing lanes into a lane with less cars and I sped up to make the lane change. I think my neuspeed exhaust and T28 was loud enough to make him think I was doing something bad.

They should rename that one to an "Exhibition of a useless law" with added quantities of discrimination, profiling , blatant revenue generation. I hate to say this, but call a lawyer(local to the court) and consult with him/her as to what the possibilities are. If Las Vegas really needs funds, possibly they should consider slashing a few law enforcement jobs off the budget line, considering they have little effect in producing a tangible social good.
