anyone ever had a tt bpv fail? how many miles on it? what sort of upgrades?

If someone over fills the oil it will vent off thru the crank case breather and that goes thru the
intake, thru the turbo and into the BPV and IC tubes. That is another thing that clogs up valves.

Yes the side port should see boost or face into the IC tube and the bottom
is the return line. Audi puts it either way because at stock boost levels of .5-.7 bar it does not matter but when you start to get up to 1 bar and higher with the valve in backwards it will rip because of the extra pressure on both sides of the daiphram.

Do you have a pic that shows the correction orientation?
I installed my TT bpv last month and noticed the surge creeps back recently. I installed it the way how the stock one was and perhaps it was installed backward at the factory.
