Anyone Ever Scotch Guard Cloth seats? A good idea?

They announced discontinuation of production (not sales) back in May.

Tell me about it...
My littlest one (9 months old now) has blown twice in a projectile manner all over the back seat(picture a constant stream hitting the back seat and splattering).
Thank god for leather seats. I couldn't imagine trying to clean that up with cloth or that perforated leatherette. I guess I'm also glad she was in a rear-facing child seat. Otherwise I would be cleaning more than just the seat.
When it happens. You just forget about wherever you were going, make a U-turn, go home and clean it up. :-(
Ah, the joys of parenthood!
