I mistakenly thought that the socket holders for halogens were the same as xenons. I didn't notice they were different until after I cut open the knock-outs for the ballasts. Now I have essentially xenon housings with halogen projectors.

So, is anyone out there parting out a set of xenons? I'm assuming all I really need are the back halves of the projectors (or even the socket holders themselves)?

If I'm wrong, can anyone set me straight?

the entire projector lens is different, not just the part that hold the bulb

i cant say from experience but some say it is, some could care less for the $ difference

if you're trying to put in d2s bulbs, you can still fit them in the h7 opening, but you'll have to make custom rings/adapters to keep the bulb straight. This way you can still use your stock housings.
