thankfully, not my A4, but my Maxima was hit by something on the freeway and now there is this tiny 1 cm star-pattern crack in the windshield. does the resin injection method work as well as advertised? anyone with experience with a glass shop in southern california (long beach)?

I've used a kit I bought from J. C. Whitney to reapir such starbursts with success (only had to use it once). As far as shops, can recommend Safelite shops; they did a good job on both my A4 and Porsche 993 on windshield replacement (the joys of Western PA roads).
