Default It's simlar to my Split Second unit....

just with a lot more features.

It looks like it's not adjustable real-time though, which is a bummer, because it's a PITA to try and adjust with the engine off.

Adjust - check - adjust - check - adjust - check, etc, etc.

Default um...

"The software is user friendly and allows the operator to make quick adjustments in real time, while driving or on a chassis dyno."

id say it appears to be real-time adjustable

Default You currently use that Split second unit?

I'm contemplating using one because I've been battling fuel trim issues for a little while.

Default Re: check out apex'i s-afc

you would actually want to check out the S-AFC II that would is more suited for our ecu due to the adaptive nature of it.

Default Yeah, I've had it for a while now....

It works pretty good once you get the hang of it.

My biggest beef is that you have to shut off the engine to upload the new changes, and it takes ~2 minutes to complete the upload.

You can watch the map real-time, and make changes to it, but the changes don't take effect until they are uploaded.

Depending on what I decide to do to try and tune my car, I may be getting rid of the SS unit.

Default Adaptive how?

The stock ECU is adaptive, so I wonder if the AFC would fight with the stock ECU at all?
