anyone put...
I never got the thing completely off, but was able to pry the top part out far enough to install the hooks. Hint: there is a dimple on the inside of each panel at the location to drill the screw hole for the hook.
To do it again, I wouldn't do the installation myself. The shade is great, but I'd gladly pay the dealer an hour labor to have them install it. Peace of mind and some protection against possible broken pieces would be worth it.
I highly recommend having the shade though. It helps keep the car much cooler, especially when leaving it parked in the sun. Driving with the shade up isn't a big problem when it's bright out. Good luck.
I have a sunshade from a 99.5 that I want to install in my 2000. You reccommend a dealer install? Should it only take one hour??
Thanks.
