Default I posted this question about a week ago

But I was talking about a Magfilter

Others who had magnetic plugs didn't find an abundance of shavings present when they changed their oil.

Default whatever you do, don't buy an aluminum drain plug like what ECS sells.

if it strips, you are screwed big time.

Default Nope.....just a Futomo Quick Drain Valve.

100,000 miles with it and not a leak yet.

Just grab the normal OEM plug and make sure you change crush washers each oil change.

you (and I, and bassed) have the type that the washer can't be replaced without a new plug.

EBay, but I don't bother. Filter catches everything. My Honda trans has no filter, uses a mag drain.

Default I've done it a few times, if they give me a washer with the oil filter.

Can someone explain to me why I should be replacing the washer every OCI? I've never had my drainplug come loose, nor does my drainplug leak...
