I have heard that Red stuff are ven better Yellow stuff are brilliant once they heat up but are primarily a track pad.

I can't speak for them on an A4 but I use to run them on my Jetta. They really do need to heat up to work properly. Therefore, IMO were not very good for daily (spirited) driving. I was going to get the Greens but the salesman suggested that I get the Reds because he too had a Jetta VR6 and "blew right through the Greens." After running the Reds for a month I took them off and sent them back. EBC gave me a full refund. BTW, they squealed like a stuck pig in stop and go traffic.

The greens squeel a little under light braking i have EBC grooved rotors aswell
I was surprised at how cheap they were Green pads all round and rotors were cheaper than stock Audi parts.
Thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it!!!
