If anyone is still checking this thread... IMO, red only works on BLACK. I'd do black calipers on a silver car. Link below to the whole brake job i did recently.

i am mad. i followed the same tech article you did. the paint on my rotors didn't last one day! ,...
what a waste of time. people should be more careful when spreading ludicrous information. the armor-all on my tires nearly caused me to run over a bird's egg. a friend told me later that whoever said to use armor-all on your treads was WRONG.

they are stock calipers, painted....
with the 4 rings logo decal attached, then clear coat over top. Check out the link in the post for more details. and thanks!

Did you use brake fluid to "dewax" your car?

Where are you based out of? Every time I see a pee-yellow A4, I think it is Boki, then no rings on the door, could be you.
