APR Chip upgrade

APR Chip upgrade
Has anyone done the APR chip upgrade that boosts power to 245hp (with exhaust). How reliable is this setup and how practical is it for everyday driveability. I have a 1.8T Avant on order due to come in next week. I plan to put APR Stage 1 suspension on it and add 17 inch BBS RS wheels with Yokohama AVS Sports. I want to use the car now and then for drivers schools and a little track time. Would like more power but don't want reliability problems. Any advice would be appreciated including experience with other tuner chips such as NEuspeed and Autoauthority.
Thanks,

The APR stage 1 chip will get you 200hp not 245. 245 is the torque rating...
APR is pretty reliable in my opinion. They are pretty conservative in terms of their programming of the ECU chip knowing to safely stay within the drivetrain's and especially the turbo's limits. I can pretty much say this for all the tuners but I would highly recommend APR, Garret (GIAC), and MTM. Look up "chips" under search or check out the various links to the plethora of 1.8T enthusiasts' webpages. You'll find some good info there.
