just called APR- they don't recommend fitting to my tiptronic- anyone done it?

Default I tried it with my first A4....

...this was last summer, when APR was first introducing the system and you could still get them through B&B.

There is, for lack of a better word, a "bulge" on the side of the Tip tranny that intrudes into the path of the exhaust. It doesn't intrude much, maybe 10mm if I remember correctly, but enough to make installation of the exhaust impossible without modifications.

I imagine that with enough blood, sweat, and cash, it could've been fixed, but I elected not to bother with it.

So I just traded the bastard in and got a 5-spd!
