it keeps the symetry of the vehicle, and you still have two more useful vents. unless you get the awe vent gauge, if you put it to the left of the steering column, you pretty much lose all airflow over there.

the kit itself is great. it comes w/ everything you need (including the buzz eliminator), but the autometer pod is the biggest piece of crap i have ever seen! this pod is made by matt harris (silroan@hotmail.com). i believe there is a long waiting list, but i am unsure exactly. matt's been in and out of town lately, so he might not have gotten to making them all yet. you can always email him and get put on the waiting list. pod costs about $40+shipping.

I chose the a-pillar for good visibility, clean look. I dont see anything wrong w/ center vent tho. But dont use the left vent, esp. in this heat...
