Default Audi Assured until 06/04. Timing belt change sooner or later? 56XXX on the clock.

If I have a local shop change it or do it myself does it give Audi the right to deny any other warranty work for the duration of my coverage?

If you are still Audi assured there's no need to do it right away except peace of mind.

I'll do mine when warranty runs out or when I chip.

Default You could wait until 06/04...

since should it fail before that, Audi Assured will cover the repairs.

As far as a local shop (or you) doing the work, it should not affect your coverage. But if you do it wrong and it destroys your engine, AA will probably not cover it. However, if your local shop does it wrong and it destroys your engine, then you could go after your local shop to cover the repairs.

Default If you are thinking the tb change is covered...its not.

If it happens to fail prior to your warranty terms then it is...along with the thousands of dollars worth of motor damage. Nice, huh?

Default wait until 6/4 to do it since your milage isn't that high

I have the same exact car w/ the AA expiring on 6/4 as well. I have 75k now and did the TB myself last summer @ 63k. The parts were only $250 and now I have the peace of mind until 120k.
