I recently received a check from Audi re: the front suspension recall for the A4. The check covered 1/3 the amount I spent to fix the problem years ago AT AN AUDI DEALER!

When I called Audi, they said that they reimbursed me only for what Audi would pay the dealer for a warranty fix. In other words, it seems that Audi conceded that their dealers rip people off with repairs by overcharging, and Audi won't stand behind the dealer's repair.

Any suggestions for convincing Audi to do the right thing?

You pay door rate. They are a business, which, by definition, means they seek a profit.
