Audi Transmission error
My Audi a4 96 Quattro is having a peculiar problem with the Transmission (automatic) ..
When I turn the ignition on, the shifter indicator lights on the console will light up all the gears and the gears remain in I think 3rd.
It is a sporatic problem, only occurs when the vehicule has been sitting and engine is cold. Also, By turning the ignition off and on again, I reset the console and problem usually goes away while driving.
I've taken the car to have serviced, and the fault codes points to a solenoid valve error???
Audi (Auto Strasse, in Montreal) is stumped...
Any ideas?
