AWE is a good company....(Borla update)
Just go off the phone with AWE concerning my "defective" Borla exhaust. AWE is going to send me another unit once I ship them the one I have on the car now. I guess I'll just swap the stock system back on for awhile.
There must be something wrong/restricting this system, as I had it checked again today by a different shop. We had it up on a lift, with myself in the car revving it at different rpms to make sure there wasn't a leak somewhere. Everything was legit and leakfree, but that horrible boat sounding rasp was still coming from the muffler.
I actually can't wait to put the stock system back on....I'm tired of turning heads for the wrong reason. BTW - I'm not knocking the Borla for all of you who may be considering the system. I think I just got a defective unit....it happens.
