B6 2003 Sport 17" wheels don't fit a 1998 A4 Avant???
I bought some used 2003 A4 Sport 17" wheels and tires (the five spoke design), for my 1998 2.8 Avant. Since they fit on my buddies 2000 A4 sedan, I thought it would fit on my wagon. The tires are 235/45/17, and they are interfering with the rear upper control arms. Is anyone running these on a B5 Avant, and if so, what size spacer did you need? They have good tires on them, so changing tire size is not the ideal solution. Any advice is appreciated.
