Default Back to work on the Quattro (Doesn't turn past a certain point)

So I took a 2 year break from the Audi and rebuilt my Camaro engine, which does decent but locked up on me. With winter coming, its time to get the A4 back on the roads. I left the problem where it was from my last encounter. Engine would turn, but not fire. Cranking by hand, I discovered a point where it would not turn all the way over, as if something was inside the cylinder preventing it to turn past that point. Today I plan to lull the cylinder head and find out just what is going on under there. The codes I pulled pointed to a few sensors being out and timing being out, so I will need to check those too. It turns like butter up to that point, so I assume the lower end is just fine, but the upper end lay have been messed up by the previous owner.. guess its time to look at the valves and the head.

Before you pull the head, take off the valve cover and remove the plugs, then rotate, you may have just dropped a valve
