Bad bpv diaphragm?

Default Bad bpv diaphragm?
I recently(today) aquired a used Turbo XS bypass valve from a user here on AW, and after recieving the valve I noticed that if I press the piston upward and plug the nipple, the piston still closes. Does this mean the diaphragm is bad on the bpv? Thanks

I think my TurboXS did the same thing and it holds boost fine.

Default i don't think there is a diaphragm on it...it's all metal
at least the one i have. i think it should be fine.
