someone help. i have a 99.5 A4 and would like to replace my factory bulbs with xenon bulbs. what do i need to know? e.g., what kind of bulbs do i need, how much are they, is it dangerous, is it difficult to install, where's a good place to purchase them, how much, where's a good place to get them, any special recs. what i really need is a FAQ on this. thanks

Technically they are called capsules, and you need other equipment to run them. You need the HID capsules, ignitors, & ballasts. You will need one of each for each headlight.

Cost looks like it is about $250-$300 for each light.

If your refering to Fake Xenon bulbs or Fake HID, that's a different story.

xenonshop.com sells a conversion kit for $620, its about the least expensive i could find

It takes somewhere around 100,000 to ignite and around 20K to run afterwards.
