Bent wheel(s) advice needed.
Soooo since spring is right around the corner, I'm contemplating on whether or not to have my BBS's fixed. Visibly there are no bends on any of the rims, although last time my car was on the lift at my indy shop....they drove the car while it was in the air....and noticed several of the rims were in fact bent. I can also feel it.
soooooooo....the question is, is there a possibility that these can still be balanced (possibly on a Hunter balancing machine) to alleviate some of the vibrations? A friend of mine mentioned it might be tough for a wheel repair shop to fix such slight bends...but I'm not sure if there's any truth to that. Anyone have any experience having bends like this fixed?

I have 3" bends on the inner bead/lip of 2 of my 16" OEM Swing wheels...
Hunter Road Force Balancer was able to balance them out no problem. It took a lot of weights but I have no vibration from them at highway speeds.
I would try Road Force Balancing before any repair work if $$ is an issue. I paid $25/wheel for the RFB.

wow that gives me a glimmer of hope. I recently put new tires on my rims...
and totally forgot to ask the shop what machine they had. I doubt they had one the Hunter ones though.
